| Clinical Interests: Dr. Suskind's clinical practice is devoted to pediatric hearing loss and cochlear implantation. She is the medical director of the Pediatric Hearing Loss and Cochlear Implant Team. She uses her clinical expertise to provide these patients with superior care and results. Academic Interests: Dana Suskind, M.D. is an expert in pediatric diseases of the head and neck. Her clinical and research focus is on childhood hearing loss and cochlear implantation. Project ASPIRE (Achieving Superior Parental Involvement for Rehabilitative Excellence), which she conceived and developed, combines educating parents of hearing impaired parents to help their children achieve their potential after implantation with research into the most effective ways of achieving this. Most significantly she is examining health disparities as it affects the world of pediatric hearing loss and cochlear implantation. She is the co-author of a textbook and the author of several book chapters. | ||||||||||||||||||
