Clinical Interests: Dr. Pinto specializes in comprehensive care of nasal disease including minimally invasive approaches to the sinuses and skull base. He maintains a practice in general otolaryngology as well, including the treatment of children.

Academic Interests:
Dr. Pinto’s research interests include the genetics of complex diseases, including allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, olfactory dysfunction, and hearing loss. He completed training in basic science and clinical research during a two-year research fellowship funded by the National Institutes of Health. |
Academic Interests: Dr. Pinto is the author of several peer-reviewed scientific articles as well as three book chapters. His research interests include identifying genetic factors that underlie allergy, chronic sinusitis, and olfactory dysfunction. He is a scientific reviewer for the Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surger, The Laryngoscope, and the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He is a member of a number of national and international medical and scientific societies. |
