Clinical Interests:
Dr. Hurst has built one of the largest inflammatory bowel disease practices in the country, with an additional interest in gastrointestinal oncology. He has proven particularly skilled in managing difficult and complicated cases of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

Dr. Hurst is widely recognized for his extensive research into Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. A Canadian native and former Yale University faculty member with experience abroad, Dr. Hurst is one of only a handful of American surgeons admitted into the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Hong Kong College of Surgeons. |
